Today I met with Jo Bailey - our paper coordinator - as I had to switch into this paper a week after it started. Luckily for me, I didn't miss too much!
It was great to get a look at the brief, chat to Jo about what the goals are for the paper, how the collaboration is going to work, and how the grading is works considering the collaboration. And her attitude really inspired me - there seems as though there is going to be a lot of freedom to work across briefs you're interested in, and move to where you will be most useful throughout the paper to create 10 successful outcomes across the cohort.
There is some homework that I am going to get onto to get my head in the game, in preparation for class on Wednesday.
