Calvin was running about an hour late because he missed his bus XD so us girls made some calls and hoped he'd back them!
We went back to the original font with the lines as when we looked at it side by side with the newer ideas it was just ten times better! But we decided that the green and pink scheme was the way to go rather than the blue as dark colours would get lost against the tarmac at night whereas bright colours would stand out day and night. We also were considering the fact that pink and green weren't used on any road markings/road signs so they seemed like good colours to be using to avoid confusion. We spent a long time around Hanna's computer each inputting ideas and trying little differences until we got to a design we were totally happy with:
Then we decided to print a portion out at full scale so that we could see how thick the lines were and whether we thought it would be feasible.
This was the section we printed which is between the "u" and the "b":
Obviously the print quality at uni was terrible but we think it looks pretty wicked! And the line widths seem fine.
Now I just have to finish our document, Calvin is going to add the "look left" and "look right" details to the doc and pop them into real scenes with the photos he took, and tomorrow we are going to discuss and decide on how we want to exhibit.
